This page allows you to request deletion of your account and associated data from the Abisiniya Travel & Tourism mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and giving you control over your personal information.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Abisiniya Travel & Tourism account and associated data, please follow these steps:

1. Submit a deletion request by sending an email to info@abisiniya.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
2. Include the following information in your email:
   • Your full name as registered in the app
   • Your registered email address
   • Your registered phone number
   • A brief statement confirming you want to delete your account
3. Verification: We will verify your identity and respond to your request within 7 business days
4. Confirmation: Once processed, you will receive a confirmation email that your account has been deleted

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data associated with your Abisiniya Travel & Tourism account will be permanently deleted:

• Account Information: Your username, email address, phone number, and password
• Profile Data: Your name, profile picture, and any personal preferences
• Search History: Your travel search history and browsing activity within the app
• Saved Items: Saved destinations, favorite trips, and bookmarks
• Communication Data: Messages, support tickets, and correspondence with our team
• Device Information: Device tokens and push notification preferences

What Data Will Be Retained

For legal, security, and business purposes, certain data may be retained even after account deletion:

• Transaction Records: Booking history, payment records, and invoices (required for accounting and tax compliance - retained for 7 years)
• Legal Compliance Data: Data required by law for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or regulatory compliance
• Anonymized Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you

Data Retention Period

Your account deletion request will be processed within 30 days. During this period:

• Your account will be immediately deactivated and you will not be able to log in
• After 30 days, all deletable data will be permanently removed from our active systems
• Some data may persist in backup systems for up to 90 days before being permanently purged
• Transaction records will be retained for 7 years as required by law

Request Partial Data Deletion (Optional)

If you would like to delete specific types of data without deleting your entire account, you can request:

• Search History Deletion: Clear your travel search and browsing history
• Profile Data Update: Remove or update specific profile information
• Communication History: Delete past messages and support conversations

To request partial data deletion, please email info@abisiniya.com with the subject "Partial Data Deletion Request" and specify which data you would like removed.
