Arrive at Mongena Private Game Lodge, just 40 minutes from Pretoria or 1.5 hours from Johannesburg, and check in from 1:00 PM. Enjoy a welcome drink and settle into your comfortable safari room. Spend the afternoon at leisure—relax by the pool, explore the lodge, or enjoy a light lunch (optional). At 3:30 PM, depart for your first open 4×4 game drive in the Big 5 Dinokeng Game Reserve, guided by expert rangers. Pause mid-drive for sundowners at a scenic spot as the sun sets over the bushveld. Return to the lodge for a delicious three-course dinner, followed by a relaxed evening under the stars. Overnight at Mongena Lodge.
